MKT 402- Social Media Marketing Takeaways

This course went beyond following social media trends and emphasized how human behavior, platform mechanics, and strategic storytelling work together to drive meaningful results. I learned that a strong social media presence requires a structured strategy that aligns content and KPIs with broader business goals, rather than relying on spontaneous posting. A key takeaway was the importance of prioritizing community over virality, recognizing that a loyal, engaged audience creates more long-term value than short-lived spikes in reach. The course also shifted my perspective on collaboration, showing how diverse ideas and collective brainstorming lead to stronger, more effective outcomes. Overall, it reinforced that impactful social media marketing is both highly strategic and deeply human-centered.
